BOSTON, MA, August 04, 2023 – As part of our Diverse Suppliers Success Program, Walsh Brothers hosted “The Match-up” event at the Foundry in Cambridge. Members of our DEI committee and our partnered prime subcontractors engaged with 2nd– and 3rd-tier subcontractors and vendors to discuss ways to get involved in commercial construction projects.
We had a fantastic turnout – five of our prime subcontractors addressed over 40 companies and provided an overview of their missions, services, and ways M/W/VBEs can partner with them to expand and grow their businesses. We enjoyed speaking with and learning more about the various companies in our area.
With Walsh Brothers’ commitment to creating a diverse workforce, our efforts have been focused on building lifelong connections with underrepresented candidates. We thank the attendees for joining us, and the Walsh Brothers DEI committee for organizing and executing this event.
