University Suites

University Suites, located on the East Campus of UMass Lowell, houses 472 undergraduates in four- and six- bed suite-style apartments. This new 146,000-square-foot dormitory includes a cafe and multipurpose room that is open to the entire UMass Lowell community as well as a common lounge, common kitchen, and laundry room on each floor. The building is sited across from the Campus Recreation Center and surrounds a courtyard that features a paved seating area and open lawn space. University Suites is LEED Gold certified, incorporating many design elements to support sustainability including a 23,000-gallon rain tank that collects water from the roof that is used for irrigation.
