Howard Thurman Center for Common Ground
Boston University
The Howard Thurman Center for Common Ground was created to preserve the legacy of Dr. Howard Thurman and serves as a “cultural hub” for Boston University. The historic Peter Fuller Building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, serves as the home to the newly renovated Howard Thurman Center at Boston University. Relocated from the basement of the George Sherman Union, the new space increases the Center’s footprint fivefold. Renovations included fire alarm, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems upgrades, as well as renovations and repairs to the exterior.
