Bridge Building
Rhode Island Hospital
Rhode Island Hospital’s new five-story Bridge Building doubled the size of the emergency department and introduced new operating rooms, specialty treatment centers, and much-needed parking. The structure was built on both sides and above an active roadway. The field fabrication of 95,000-pound trusses accelerated the project’s construction schedule and minimized street shutdowns required for truss installation.
“Walsh Brothers makes managing a complex project look easy. The care that your team took to ensure that our facility was not disrupted even during the busiest times is unparalleled.”
