This prestigious honor recognizes, celebrates and publicizes the work of exemplary companies whose longstanding contributions have lasting impact on the industry, community and the clients which they serve. A fourth generation managed, family-owned firm, Walsh Brothers was recognized for its contribution to the advancement of the construction industry along with its community involvement and philanthropy, project innovation, leadership and collaboration and environmental stewardship. Over its 106 year history the firm has had a major impact on Boston's skyline through its construction of some of the city's largest and most complex buildings in the arts, cultural, academic and healthcare markets. The firm has had the privilege of working with many of the region's most prestigious institutions and commercial firms. Over the decades, the firm has received many awards for its work including countless awards from the Boston Society of Architects, numerous Build New England Awards granted by the Association of General Contractors along with the coveted Build America Award for the Fenway Park State Street Pavilion and EMC Club completed in 2006.
