Boston, MA -Tuesday, May 12, 2009 - Walsh Brothers, Incorporated, is thrilled to announce that 29 members of the firm recently have received their LEED® AP accreditation. Walsh Brothers, Incorporated has long supported sustainability in terms of educating its staff, incorporating the practices into both our project work as general contractors, but also our day-to-day responsibilities.

LEED, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings set forth by the U.S. Green Building Council. Walsh Brothers, Incorporated has worked diligently to encourage the entire firm to pursue this valuable accreditation stressing the positive result it yields each member on a professional level as well as the value it provides to Walsh Brothers' clients. Walsh Brothers provided numerous study sessions and unlimited access to online resources to assist employees in their pursuit. The results have been astounding with more a large percentage of our onsite staff now LEED® certified. We applaud the efforts of all of our staff for taking on this challenge and succeeding with flying colors.
